ABOUT RUDRAKSHA :
Rudraksha is a Hindu name for the hard and dark
Elaeocarpus ganitrus fruit. The word Rudraksha is a Sanskrit word which
is a combination of two words ‘Rudra’ and ‘Aks’. ‘Rudra’ is another name
of Lord Shiva and ‘Aks’ is used for eyes in Sanskrit and Hindi. So,
Rudraksha means eyes of Lord Shiva.
Rudraksha is one of the most revered and sacred object
in Hinduism. Rudraksha is very common among Sadhus, Yogis, Priests.
Rudraksha is used in a number of ways and for a number of reasons.
Sadhus wear it for spirituality, Yogis for concentration, Common people
as a astrological remedy, for peace and welfare.
Rudraksh Beads can be worn by everyone, irrespective of
sex, age, religion etc and it helps to overcome difficulties and
obstacles in life. Rudraksh Beads does not have any negative effects.
Each bead is identified by number of faces (Mukhs) or vertical lines on
the beads. Each type of Rudraksha bead is associated with a ruling
planet, ruling god and beej mantra. One can choose a specific bead
